WATCH: Romain Grosjean hits the barriers after spin at pre-season testing
Romain Grosjean struggled throughout the second day of pre-season testing at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and as the clock was winding down he spun at Turn 4 and tagged the barriers, damaging his rear wing.
The Haas driver ended up 11th, just under 1.5s off Kimi Raikkonen’s leading pace, but clocked up the highest number of laps with a final tally of 158 on Thursday. Though his boss Guenther Steiner did not look happy after the Frenchman's tangle with the barriers during the afternoon session.
But Grosjean wasn’t the only one to face a hiccup on Day 2, with Raikkonen spinning and bringing out the first red flag of testing after the likes of Valtteri Bottas had lost control too.
