WATCH: Ricciardo left gobsmacked after being reminded he'd not done a 'shoey' on podium
It's become his trademark celebration, but after two and a half years off the podium, Daniel Ricciardo somewhat unbelievably forgot to perform a 'shoey' when he finally returned to the rostrum in the Eifel Grand Prix...
As you can see in the video above, Ricciardo was taken aback when reminded of the fact by F1.com's Lawrence Barretto, before explaining how he'd come to forget it.
For the uninitiated, the shoey involves Ricciardo removing his race boot, filling it with champagne and then drinking from it, with the self-styled Honey Badger also making other drivers and even celebrities - including actors Patrick Stewart and Gerard Butler - join him in the ritual over the years.
