WATCH: Relive Max Verstappen carving through the field en route to victory in Spa
Like a hot knife through butter – that’s the best way to describe the way Max Verstappen made his way through the field at the Belgian Grand Prix.
Starting P14 after taking on a host of grid penalties, Verstappen – who’d lapped over six-tenths faster than any other driver in qualifying – was undeterred, climbing to P8 by the end of the first lap, while the Dutchman would go on to win the race for the second consecutive year by a margin of over 17 seconds from team mate Sergio Perez.
It was an enjoyable ride – and you can see it from onboard Verstappen’s RB18 by hitting play in the video up top.
