The much-delayed 2020 Formula 1 season finally kicked off with the Austrian Grand Prix in early July – followed immediately by the Styrian Grand Prix a week later, with both races held at the Red Bull Ring.
After Valtteri Bottas had taken victory in the season opener, Lewis Hamilton hit back emphatically in the second race, taking a commanding win to set his title challenge in motion.
But there was drama aplenty behind him: not least the two Ferraris of Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc colliding on the opening lap on what was a disastrous weekend for the Scuderia.
