Sunday's Russian Grand Prix began with a bang – quite literally as first Carlos Sainz and then Lance Stroll had heavy crashes into the barriers within the first few corners of Lap 1.
But while those two were falling by the wayside, others were taking advantage and shooting up the order in the opening lap chaos – notably Kevin Magnussen who made up an incredible nine positions on the first lap alone.
