At last the waiting is over: after all the teasing pictures of the new cars, the theatrical launches and all the talk, on Wednesday the business of the 2020 season began when the new cars hit the track for Day 1 of pre-season testing.
All 10 teams were in attendance at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for the first of the two tests, which this year comprise of three days of running in each, down from four last year.
Most of the teams had already completed a shakedown run but when the cars pulled out of the garage and on to the track it was the first chance the fans had to get a proper look at the cars that will contest the 2020 season.
Williams were determined to be first out after their nightmare pre-season last year when they missed the first two days of testing because of late problems with the build of the FW42, and sure enough, George Russell was the first to hit the circuit when running began at 9am on Wednesday morning.
Check out the video above to see all 10 new cars running on track.
