Ferrari's Charles Leclerc aced the start at the French Grand Prix, to maintain the lead from pole position ahead of his Red Bull title rival Max Verstappen.
Behind, Kevin Magnussen from 20th on the grid enjoyed a phenomenal launch to climb to P13 by the end of the first lap for Haas, as Alpine's Esteban Ocon and AlphaTauri's Yuki Tsunoda touched at the chicane – Tsunoda tipped into a spin, with Ocon receiving a five-second penalty for his troubles.
