WATCH: Daniil Kvyat's Red Bull Ring circuit guide ahead of Austria double header
The fever is building as Formula 1 prepares to go racing again in 2020. To help get you in the mood, let AlphaTauri’s Daniil Kvyat guide you around a lap of the Red Bull Ring ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix on July 3-5, and the Styrian Grand Prix a week later on July 10-12.
At just 2.7 miles, and with a couple of decent-sized straights for the drivers to blat along, the Red Bull Ring is the shortest lap, time-wise, of the season, with Charles Leclerc’s pole from 2019 taking just 1m 03.003s.
But the track still packs in some challenging corners for the drivers, with the likes of Turn 1, Turn 4 and Turn 9 all requiring commitment and precision to nail a quick lap. Let Daniil Kvyat explain how it’s done in the video above...
