TREMAYNE: Fernando Alonso is a warrior – I can’t wait to see what he can do in an Adrian Newey Aston Martin


Is Fernando Alonso the most enigmatic of the world champions still racing in F1 today? Or is there an easy explanation for his sometimes divisive character?
I tend to think the latter: like all great racing drivers, he just hates losing! And the fact that he’s celebrating his 400th Grand Prix this weekend in Mexico is an endorsement of how hungry he still is.
