From a surprise pole-sitter in George Russell to Max Verstappen having a chance of closing further on the McLarens, and from Ferrari also in the mix to heat and Safety Car possibilities adding to the unknowns, here are five things to look out for when we go racing under the lights in Singapore…
1. Russell seeking a second win of the season
It hasn’t been the most fruitful of seasons for Mercedes so far, with George Russell picking up the team’s only victory of 2025 to date in Canada back in June.
Since then, chances to win a race have been few and far between, but he has been consistent with six other podiums ensuring he currently sits fourth in the Drivers’ Championship.
