ROAD TO F1: Drugovich beats Ghiotto and Schumacher to F2 win in Spain

In a race where even the most experienced drivers struggled with tyre wear, rookie Felipe Drugovich marshalled them like a pro. The MP Motorsport driver comfortably beat out Luca Ghiotto by a margin of 9.5s for his second Formula 2 win in Spain.
Drugovich flew off the line when the lights went out as Ghiotto struggled to get away at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

The Hitech Grand Prix driver did at least brush off a late lunge from Ferrari junior Mick Schumacher, who ended up taking the final podium place.
Callum Ilott stretched his championship-leading margin by one point, as the Ferrari protege clung on to eighth place, despite his heavily degraded Pirellis. His main rival, Robert Shwartzman, wasn’t so lucky, finishing out of the points, in 13th.
