On May 13, F1.com started counting down and celebrating the 25 greatest races throughout the sport’s 75 years of history. Today, October 30, our No. 1 race has been revealed – the 2011 Canadian Grand Prix.
Jenson Button’s victory in that marathon of a Grand Prix in Montreal – the longest race in F1 history – was an overwhelmingly popular choice for top spot but, needless to say, our final list of 25 produced plenty of debate both inside and outside of the F1 office.
However, each race that made the list was undeniably an epic – whether it was for an incredible individual display, a championship-deciding showdown or, in the case of Canada 2011, sheer chaos from start to finish.
Now is the time for you to have your say and vote for what you believe is the best Grand Prix throughout F1’s 75 years of history. Do you also believe it’s that famed Canadian Grand Prix, or should we have another race in the top spot? Click on the poll below and get voting!
