The first ever Miami Grand Prix weekend has begun, and we have onboard footage of Charles Leclerc's fastest lap of FP1 at Miami International Autodrome.
FP1 got under way on Friday afternoon at Miami Gardens, the grounds outside the Hard Rock Stadium abuzz with F1 cars turning their first laps of the brand-new circuit.
FP1: Leclerc leads Russell in first-ever Miami Grand Prix practice session
Leclerc set the fastest time of 1m 31.098s, going 0.071s faster than George Russell, who was at the wheel of an upgraded Mercedes W13. Red Bull's Max Verstappen took P3 ahead of team mate Sergio Perez, while Carlos Sainz had a puncture and ended up sixth.
