MONDAY MORNING DEBRIEF: Las Vegas exposed McLaren's key weaknesses – but they may have learned a valuable lesson


McLaren had perhaps its least competitive weekend of the season at Las Vegas, with Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri trailing home a distant sixth and seventh after starting sixth and eighth on the grid.
Before Norris made a late stop for a set of new soft tyres on which to set the fastest lap, he had been running almost half-a-minute behind George Russell’s winning Mercedes.
