March debut for new Sauber
Sauber will introduce their 2016 car at the second and final pre-season test, the Swiss team have confirmed. The Ferrari-powered C35 is due to break cover at Spain’s Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on March 1.
Sauber will also attend the year’s opening test - on February 22-25 at the same venue - but are expected to use a modified version of their 2015 machine running in 2016 livery.
The Hinwil-based squad, who finished eighth in last season’s constructor standings, will field an unchanged driver line-up for 2016, with Sweden’s Marcus Ericsson and Brazil’s Felipe Nasr both entering their second season with the team.
