HIGHLIGHTS: See all the key moments from first practice in Sao Paulo
For the second race of the final triple header of 2021 Formula 1 is in Brazil for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix – and the final F1 Sprint event of the season.
And the fact that it is a Sprint weekend means we have a different format for the sessions at Interlagos, with just one practice session before qualifying, which is being held today (Friday), instead of the usual Saturday afternoon.
You can see all the action from that first practice session in the video above, as Lewis Hamilton went quickest ahead of title rival Max Verstappen.
But it wasn't all good news for Hamilton, who was hit with a five-place grid penalty for Sunday's race after taking a new Mercedes engine for this weekend's event.
