Williams’ all new 2023 race car, the FW45, made its track debut on Monday during a shakedown session at Silverstone, under the watchful eye of Special Advisor Jenson Button.
Williams showcased the livery of the car they hope will move them up the grid at a virtual launch last week in Grove – after finishing the 2022 season at the bottom of the championship.
ANALYSIS: It’s all change at Williams in 2023 – but can they change their fortunes on track?
On Monday, the nine-time constructors’ champions gave the FW45 its first taste of track action, with Alex Albon putting it through its paces in the morning, before his new team mate Logan Sargeant, goes behind the wheel in the afternoon.
After the shakedown, Williams will join the other nine teams in Bahrain for pre-season testing on February 23-25, ahead of the first race of the year at the same Sakhir venue on March 5.
