New pictures have been released showing the progress at the Madring circuit in Madrid ahead of the city’s maiden Grand Prix next month.

The photos highlight the ongoing preparations for the Spanish Grand Prix, which will host Round 14 of the championship on the weekend of September 11-13.

A lucky few have already been given a taster of the new track, with home hero Carlos Sainz completing the debut laps earlier this year while Ferrari were the first team to experience the circuit in an F1 car in July.
