Ferrari become first team to announce F1 2019 launch date

The Prancing Horse that Ferrari hope can guide them to their first Formula 1 title success in more than a decade will be unveiled on February 15, just three days before pre-season testing for the 2019 campaign begins…
The boys and girls in red looked like they would break their championship duck this season, with Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari leading their respective championships heading to the German Grand Prix. But they were then usurped by Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes and could not wrestle the lead back.
Work on the 2019 car, known within Maranello as Project 670, has been ongoing for several months. There are now just eight weeks to go until they pull off the covers.
Ferrari are the first team to announce the date of their 2019 launch, with Vettel and new signing Charles Leclerc spearheading the Scuderia’s title challenge in the upcoming campaign.
