Lewis Hamilton won in Belgium for Mercedes, but that doesn't even come close to telling the whole story of an eventful Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps.
George Russell crossed the line first for a famous 1-2 for Mercedes against the odds, only to be later disqualified for a technical infringement – his car found to be underweight after it crossed the line.
That result promoted Oscar Piastri to P2, the McLaren man having a very impressive afternoon as he backed up his win from Hungary in style. The same couldn't be said for his team mate though, Lando Norris calling his mistake at the start "embarrassing".

Max Verstappen managed to finish ahead of Norris to extend his championship lead, even if he did come home fourth after failing to recover all the way to the front following his grid penalty.
But while Verstappen recovered a decent haul of points, his team mate went backwards – Sergio Perez starting second but finishing seventh on a tough day for the Mexican.
