There is no shortage of British Formula 1 legends that have inspired the next crop of up-and-coming talent in the junior ranks. From the likes of Jim Clark and Jackie Stewart through to Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton and now Lando Norris, success in F1 motivates the next generation to emulate their heroes.
Recently announced Williams Reserve Driver Luke Browning – who finished fifth in last year's F2 campaign – names another Briton that became World Champion as his hero: Damon Hill, who himself had his father’s footsteps in which to follow.
