F1 ACADEMY: Chambers fends off Lloyd to take victory in Montreal Race 3
Chloe Chambers brought home her first victory of the 2025 F1 ACADEMY season in Canada.

Chloe Chambers kept her nerve to bring home her first victory of the 2025 F1 ACADEMY season in Montreal Race 3, setting herself up as Doriane Pin’s closest title rival.
The American driver led a lights-to-flag trip around the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve and survived two Safety Car restarts to take the chequered flag behind a third Safety Car appearance.

A rapid start from fourth on the grid put Ella Lloyd right on Chambers’ tail, after the McLaren driver had contact with second-place Alisha Palmowski, which knocked the Red Bull Racing driver down to the back of the field. Lloyd continued to pile on the pressure, but had to settle for her third consecutive P2 finish of the weekend.
Pin narrowly avoided damage after getting caught up in the Palmowski/Lloyd incident and after dropping back to P5, the Mercedes driver fought back up to complete the podium.
Tina Hausmann narrowly missed out on a top-three finish, with the Aston Martin driver equalling her best F1 ACADEMY result. Chloe Chong finished in fifth ahead of Maya Weug, after the Ferrari junior fought back from P15 on the grid.
Palmowski recovered from her opening lap incident to finish seventh ahead of Alba Larsen. A 10-second penalty for Nina Gademan for causing a collision dropped her from ninth to 14th, promoting Joanne Ciconte and Emma Felbermayr into the final points-paying positions.
Pin holds a 20-point lead over Chambers as the F1 ACADEMY field head on summer break, before returning for Round 5 in Zandvoort from August 29-31. That wraps up the F1 ACADEMY weekend in Montreal, but for an in-depth report from Race 3, head to the official website here.
