Aston Martin set to run on Thursday and Friday at Barcelona Shakedown
Amid the start of the Barcelona Shakedown, Aston Martin have announced when they will join the event.

Aston Martin have confirmed that they will join the Barcelona Shakedown later in the week, with the squad intending to run on Thursday and Friday.
The five-day event – running from January 26-30 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya – is now underway, having kicked off on Monday with several teams and drivers gaining mileage in their new cars.
With each team permitted three days of running out of the five available, programmes have differed amongst them; McLaren and Ferrari, for example, have stated that they will begin running on Tuesday rather than during the opening session.
Williams, meanwhile, recently announced that they will not participate in the event, opting to “push for maximum car performance” on the FW48.

Aston Martin have now set out their own plan, having confirmed that they will run later on in the week.
“The AMR26 will be in Barcelona later this week for its shakedown,” the squad stated in a social media post on Monday.
“Our intention is to run Thursday and Friday.”
While their partnership with Honda was officially launched on January 20, Aston Martin are amongst the teams who are yet to host their launch event, with the British outfit set to do so on February 9.
