F1 REWIND: Watch Ricciardo’s brilliant 2018 Monaco Grand Prix win in full
In 2016, Daniel Ricciardo was heading for victory in the Monaco Grand Prix having taken pole on the Saturday and driven flawlessly on Sunday. And then a botched pit stop robbed him of the victory.
It was a setback he recently admitted haunted him for two years. And the race we have for you today in our series of classic Grands Prix, is the race that finally laid those demons to rest for the Australian.

In 2018, Ricciardo again took pole in Monaco and was again leading comfortably when the unthinkable happened and his Red Bull developed a fault. There was nothing the team could do, and nothing Ricciardo himself could do, to fix it. All he could do was keep driving – and praying.
