Charles Leclerc kicked off the opening day of running at the Las Vegas Grand Prix by topping the timesheets in Free Practice 2.
With the first practice hour brought to an early end, FP2 was extended to 90 minutes and proved to be a busy session as the drivers explored the new Las Vegas Strip Circuit.
It was Leclerc who ended second practice in P1 with a lap time of 1m 35.265s, leading the way from Ferrari team mate Carlos Sainz, who returned to action after suffering damage in FP1.

Fernando Alonso was just over one-hundredth of a second away in third, while Sergio Perez claimed fourth spot and Valtteri Bottas took fifth.
Max Verstappen put in the sixth-fastest time, with Nico Hulkenberg following in seventh place.
Lance Stroll, Lewis Hamilton and Alex Albon rounded out the top 10. The cars will hit the track again on Friday evening for FP3 and qualifying ahead Saturday night’s race.
